That cat does not exist
I was talking with someone on our ski trip about taking the Garfield comic strip and removing the word bubbles from Garfield as a way to show the true story in the Arbuckle house. Today I found garfield minus garfield, which erases Jon Arbuckle’s hallucinatory cat to show “the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and methamphetamine addiction in a quiet American suburb.”
The comic is so much better and makes so much more sense when you know that the cat doesn’t exist.

RUR (Rails-Undo-Redo) is a rails plugin/gem to make it so easy to implement multi-level undo redo in your Rails application that you better start thinking of better excuses not to implement Undo/Redo (no, seriously, it is going to be a lot easier).

I want.
A hot spring evaporates minerals over millions of years forming a beehive dome. A hole where the dome hasn’t closed up provides a beam of light to illuminate it. You can scuba dive it for $22.
And it’s 30 minutes from Park City’s slopes.HotDamn! -

2 click polls and meeting organizers. So dead simple. I saw this from Steve Lambert at eyebeam and it’s fantastic.
I built a bed.
I got a bed from my buddy Sol. It was huge and too big for my bedframe. So I built one with my neighbor Matt Scott.
The central bit is built out of 2X4 douglass pine in a ladder frame sort of way.
The sides are sanded oak veneer plywood.
The legs are 4X4s, I forget what.
Behold my craftyness!

This is the only time this has ever happened.
How fortunate that someone was there that single time to film it!

Surveil me better
I’ve joined the travel site dopplr. It’s pretty simple. Put in trips, connect through them. Useful for the frequent flying types that I’m supposed to become soon. You can see the little badge over there on the left telling you that I’ll be in Mount Snow this weekend.
Except that it tells you West Rutland, because neither Mount Snow or West Dover are understood as places by Dopplr. I picked a town near Killington, but that seems a bit lame to me.
