Projects:

• Infrastructure: Revamped development process to include Jira issue tracking, estimation on efforts, on-time delivery and revamping and refactoring of old projects for speed and efficiency. Instituted practice of documenting decisions and new procedures in Confluence wiki. Converted team from Visual Source Safe to Git/Bitbucket and converted projects to Continuous Delivery/Integration/Test using Bamboo
• Support Rotation: Improved rotational support and the ability for developers to assist in each others projects, breaking silos.
• Hiring: Revamped technical hiring process, training employees on how to interview and evangelizing proper code tests for prospects across the bank. Initiated Development Summer Intern program.
• External Liason: Liased to external vendors and technical providers including Admiral, Workday, EvalueServe, Geneva, Bloomberg PolarLake, One Source Virtual and Silverline.
• Legacy management: Took over legacy projects without current dev lead, brought up to spec and made them supportable.
• SalesForce: Launched multiple new SF orgs, with custom VisualForce pages and integrations with internal systems. Set up video training project to for new hire onboarding
• Workday: Managed the launch of Workday and decommission of home-grown internal HR system. Assumed the Integration and Security administrator roles.
• Maestro: Decreased developer support time by launching an .Net MVC/Angular.JS/Microservice based portal for the business to manage processes directly.
• Launches: Set up a structured plan for fund launches to avoid technology firedrills.
• App Support: Expanded desktop support team to include application support, freeing developer time from support functions.
• Python Shift: Retrained dev team from .Net to Python. Trained support on Python scripting.
• Knowledge Base and Documentation: Established Knowledge Centered Support. Support team able to lessen response time and repurpose documentation to provide onboarding training for new users.
• Globalization: Shifted support team from purely regional model to global team with regional expertise.

Projects:

• Cost Cutting: Organization and design of plan for decommissioning a redundant reporting facility and security master, for multi-million dollar cost savings.
• Operational Tools: Worked with senior management to define requirements and mockup for new operational dashboards.
• Reporting Business Requirements: Designed swap and equity report integration, extracts for dividend and coupon accruals, transfer analysis, commission summaries, UBIT monitoring, Fully Paid Lending.
• Reporting Wiki: Initiated, planned and created new Reporting Wiki, giving business documentation on major client reports and extracts for the first time in years, up to date sales report demonstration docs, and integrating with client on boarding tools. Dead documents were changed to Living documents integrated into the development and release workflow.
• Report Reruns: Designed new Reporting workflows for correct report reruns, led UAT effort.
• Standardization: Standardized presentation of currencies, dates, times, report names, and extract report structure.

Projects:

• Initiated Single Stock and Basket trading implementation for iPad: Managed implementation and contributed to iOS development. Worked with clients and business to test concepts. Worked with IT Security, Legal and Compliance to clear path for new features. Presented and got approval from Executive Committee.
• Improved Development Best Practices: Reorganized team to provide proper source control under Git, generated documentation with AppleDoc and a testing and deployment pattern with TestFlight. Transformed the project from multiple single-points-of-failure to be supportable and maintainable.

Projects:

• Designed iPad App: Featured in COO Connect and Global Custodian in July 2012.
• Redesigned Public Facing Website: With constrained resources implemented a 2 phase deployment, wrote lead collection teaser form.
• Onboarded High Value Clients: Primary technology representative during sales and onboarding for the group's most valuable clients. Designed, organized and implemented custom solutions to fit client needs for $1 billion+ hedge funds.
• Managed Technology Rollout: Business had poor visibility into what was being rolled out when. Changed culture and process to serve both groups better. Planned and managed rollout of new PB Portal, Corporate Actions Portal, Wire Transfers, SMART Risk, Margin Reporting, International PB, and Securities Lending.
• Created Client Facing Technology Docs: Designed and wrote guide to working with PB web services for clients, welcome packet, PB Technology Newsletter, marketing brochures, client updates, guide to reports, etc. Guided from conception through execution.
• Managed Backend Transition for BOFA to BNPP sale: During transition from BofA to BNPP, transitioned over a hundred backend reports.

Projects:

• Created Real Time PNL 2: Excel front end VSTO C# .Net system that provides real time profit and loss changes to hedge fund clients.
• Wrote Web Reports: Client side Aspx pages that queried SQL Server and output to html, Excel, or pdf
• Initiated, Created and Released Quick Trade Monitor: Support tool for help desk to monitor EOD trade files using a Windows Forms GUI and web services.
• Initiated, Created and Evangelized Support Queries Page: Simple aspx page that reduced developer support time by 80%.
• Created Deployment System: Used to build our staging, production and development environments from automatically built MSI files.
• Extended Trade File Import System: Built out support for Ezecastle, High Velocity Trading and other formats, built UAT environment, wrote client documentation package for this C# server that imported client trades to SQL Server.
• Wrote Extensible Trade Export System: Aspx page that used stored procedures to pull data into XML transform it to client's expectations using XSL.

Projects:

• Created Program Trading Monitor: IRC and PERL bot that monitored multiple databases for Program Trading desk.
• Created Trading Deployment System: PERL system to do deployments and intraday 1 second failovers for the A4 high velocity trading system.
• Supported 400 Equities Traders: From hardware to network to software to FIX messages. Responsible for client to market trade flow.

Projects:

• Created Drip Orders: Allowed market makers to drip large orders out to the market in small timed chunks to avoid moving the market.
• Increased Stability: Led small team to perform code and core dump analysis. Simplified code, reduced instability and increased customer satisfaction.
• Simplified Time in Force Code: Used Object Oriented Programming to simplify and centralize TIF code. Reduced related lines of code by 50%.
• Performed Bug Fixes: Wrote various bug fixes and customer requested enhancements.

Projects:

• Created Data Cleaning Scripts: Wrote hundreds of sql data validation scripts to find unusual data for review and PowerBuilder frontends to display results to users.
